The scope of the Scheduling and Cell Logistics Specialist I will be to support the Cell Therapy Patient Experience team to schedule and deliver exceptional global customer service and logistics support for BMS's Cell Therapy products. The Scheduling and Cell Logistics Specialist I will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring patient treatment schedules for the manufacturing of BMS's autologous cellular immunotherapy products.

  • Coordinate with cell collection centers, cell therapy manufacturing sites, cell administration sites, and third-party logistics partners to create and maintain patient schedules within the process constraints.
  • Input and maintain data related to patient schedules within BMS's scheduling system.
  • Proactively monitor the collection, delivery, transportation, and manufacturing activities for patient treatments as they move through the vein to vein process.
  • Troubleshoot and develop plans of action for expected & unanticipated logistical issues during the transport of BMS products.
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Liaise/collaborate with apheresis operations, clinical operations, medical directors, commercial, quality, and third-party logistics partners to resolve issues.
  • Work closely with Research and Process Development in coordinating healthy donor collection activities.
  • Author and implement procedures and work instructions related to departmental functions.
  • Support and manage high volume of calls and e-mails.
  • Comply with applicable SOP's and FDA regulations to maintain data integrity.

  • Associate Degree in a related discipline.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and organization skills.
  • Collaborates effectively with multiple individuals in a cross-functional, team- oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-resolution skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and make decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong system skills.
  • Ability to learn, retain and apply large amounts of product, procedure, policy and system information.

  • Ability to accommodate non-traditional work schedules.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.

  • Equipment Usage During Work Period: Computer 80%; Phone and Electronic Devices 20%.
  • Sitting at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • Regular sitting, standing, talking, listening, using hands & fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach.
  • Requirement to work in a conference room / meeting environment for moderate periods of time.
  • Light to moderate lifting.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required, plus occasional overtime, as business demands dictate.
  • Moderate noise i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers.
